White screen
Click the panel to fill your screen with white. Set the warmth and brightness, add a timer, and keep the display awake.
What people use it for
Video call light
Open it on a tablet or second monitor facing you. Around 4,300 K gives skin a softer, more natural tone than plain screen white.
Makeup and selfies
An even light at arm’s length. Use 5,000–5,600 K to see colors close to daylight.
Clean your screen
Smudges and streaks show up on white; dust shows best on black. Wipe with a dry microfiber cloth.
Check for dead pixels
A dead pixel is a tiny black dot on white. For a full check, run the five-color dead pixel test.
Trace a drawing
Turn brightness up, lay thin paper over a tablet and trace. Keep screen on stops it from dimming halfway.
Night light
Warm it to 2,000–2,700 K and drop the brightness for a dim amber glow.

Questions
How do I make my screen completely white?
Click the white panel or press F. The page goes full screen and shows pure white (#FFFFFF). Turn your display’s own brightness up for the strongest light, and press Esc to exit.
Can I change the color temperature?
Yes. Warmth runs from 2,000 K (candlelight) to 9,000 K (cool blue-white). 6,500 K is standard screen white.
Why does my screen turn off after a while?
Your device dims the display when it’s idle. Keep screen on asks the browser to stay awake while the white screen is open; some browsers and battery-saver modes don’t allow it.
Does it work on iPhone?
Yes, but Safari on iPhone can’t hide its toolbar for a web page. Add White Screens to your Home Screen and open it from there to fill the whole display.
Is it free?
Yes. No sign-up and no app — everything runs in your browser.
